Since 1977, this holiday has been celebrated in Italy to the sound of mimosas, jewellery and greeting cards. This year, sipping mimosas on the terrace of a mountain refuge with friends, glittering snow scattered across the mountains and check-in cards in hotels with spas is the watchword, just to leave nothing to chance.

  1. Mountain refuges. A meal with flakes (strictly pink flakes) in the spring sunshine, the kind that will keep your tan from fading for the rest of the summer, with a good glass of red, white or rosé wine, makes the hottest hours of the day go by in style.   2. Book a ski lesson with your favourite instructor. What better gift to treat yourself than a skiing lesson with your favourite ski instructor? Visit the website of the Ski & Snowboard Arabba and Dolomites Rèba school to see which instructor is best suited to you and book a lesson for a couple of hours, a day or for a skitour in search of the ultimate breathtaking panorama.
  3. Regenerating walk in the woods. To regenerate every cell in your body and relieve the stress of the city, nature is definitely better than a spa. Fresh air, friendly encounters with wildlife and new places to see, this is what Arabba best reflects, with the Gana, Salvan and Arabba-Renaz trails entirely in spruce forests.
  4. Take on the "La Bellunese" slope on the Marmolada glacier. What could be better than climbing 1815 metres from Malga Ciapela to Punta Rocca early in the morning and enjoying the view with your partner or best friends from 3265m above sea level? The 12 km long La Bellunese track will take you back to the valley, where you can take the lifts to return to Arabba.
  5. Wellness centre. After a long day of skiing, relaxing in a Finnish sauna or a Turkish bath to get rid of all the toxins is a must. Take advantage of the wellness centre in your hotel, or book your place in the wellness centres open to the public.
  6. Enjoy the torchlight procession in your honour. On 8 March, a torchlight descent has been planned by the ski instructors of the Ski & snowboard Arabba and Dolomites Rèba schools in honour of Women's Day. At about 18:10 this symbolic descent down the Burz slope will take place. In addition, a torch-lit figure will be lit. Find out more about the event.
