Saturday 17.06.2023 Transit HERO Dolomites
On Saturday 17th June 2023 the 13th edition of the HERO Dolomites will take place in Arabba - Fodom, the hardest mountain-bike marathon in Europe, but also the dream, the objective and the goal for many off-road cycling enthusiasts. This edition is the one of the restart, after a year of forced stop, naturally in full respect of every rule for the safety of the participants.
The event will also involve Arabba and the Fodom Valley from morning to early afternoon.
Runners on the 86-kilometer long route will arrive from Campolongo Pass, then descend to Arabba, cross the road near the church square, then head to Alfauro and tackle the dreaded Ornella climb, then pass under "Sasso Cappello" to the Pordoi Pass. Participants in the short 60-kilometer route are diverted in Arabba onto the "Sorieghe" dirt road to the Pordoi Pass.
