On Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2024, come visit one of the most advanced facilities in the field of avalanche hazard forecasting, in a fascinating meeting with ARPAV experts who will guide you to discover cutting-edge methodologies and techniques.
During the two days, you can participate in an informative and engaging program, which includes:
-An illustration of the activities of the Avalanche Center, with a focus on mountain meteorology, snowmaking and avalanche forecasting.
-A visit to the Operations Room, where ARPAV experts will show you the techniques and tools used to monitor avalanche danger and make weather forecasts for the mountains.
Please note, the guided tour will be conducted exlusively in Italian language

The event is open to everyone: families, students, weather, snow and avalanche enthusiasts. It is not a technical-scientific event, but an opportunity for outreach and knowledge.

-Visiting hours: 10 a.m. to noon, with one shift for each day.
-Registration: to participate, reservations are required through the form available on the ARPAV page: https://www.arpa.veneto.it/notizie/in-primo-piano/porte-aperte-al-centro-valanghe-arpav-di-arabba-iscriviti-allevento-1 (each registration can include up to 5 people) .
-Limited number of participants: each session is limited in number, with a maximum of 20 participants.
