On Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2024, come visit one of the most advanced facilities in the field of avalanche hazard forecasting, in a fascinating meeting with ARPAV experts who will guide you to discover cutting-edge methodologies and techniques.
During the two days, you can participate in an informative and engaging program, which includes:
-An illustration of the activities of the Avalanche Center, with a focus on mountain meteorology, snowmaking and avalanche forecasting.
-A visit to the Operations Room, where ARPAV experts will show you the techniques and tools used to monitor avalanche danger and make weather forecasts for the mountains.

-Visiting hours: 10 a.m. to noon, with one shift for each day.

-Limited number of participants: each session is limited in number, with a maximum of 20 participants.
