From January 1, 2022, it will be mandatory for all skiers to have an insurance policy that covers liability for damage or injury caused to third parties.
This innovation is part of the revision of the mountain safety code, which from the same date, among other things, requires all minors to wear helmets and imposes a ban on alcohol for skiers.
It will be necessary to respect the existing signs, speed limits and safety regulations.
It will also be necessary to pay maximum attention to the "traffic" on the slopes, to the weather conditions and visibility.
Specifically, the decree states that the skier will have to "adapt his pace to the conditions of the equipment used, to the technical characteristics of the slope and to the crowded conditions of the same".
