"World Ski Awards" is a unique programme in the world that, now in its tenth edition, rewards excellence in the various categories of operators belonging to the 25 main ski tourism nations.
A sort of international Oscar for ski destinations, the World Ski Awards were created as part of the World Travel Awards event.
The aim is to reward excellence in ski and winter tourism in 20 world nations: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, South Korea, the United States and, of course, Italy. There were four prizes up for grabs in each country: Best Ski Resort, Best Ski Hotel, Best Ski Boutique Hotel and Best Ski Chalet.
Also by 2023 editions, for the category "Best Ski Chalet" in Italy, saw the triumph of the
Chalet Cesa del Louf in Arabba.
