12.06.21 Transit HERO Dolomites
On Saturday 12th June 2021 the 11th edition of the HERO Dolomites will take place in Arabba - Fodom, the hardest mountain-bike marathon in Europe, but also the dream, the objective and the goal for many off-road cycling enthusiasts. This edition is the one of the restart, after a year of forced stop, naturally in full respect of every rule for the safety of the participants.
The event will also affect the Fodom Valley from the morning until early afternoon.
The Mtbikers of the 86 km long route will arrive from the Campolongo Pass, cross the road near the square near the church in Arabba and continue in the direction of Alfauro - Ornella. Compared to previous years, due to the permanence of snow in the higher elevations, once they reach Sourasass at 2,351 m, the competitors will descend along the forest road until they reach the Passo Pordoi state road, and then continue along the road until they reach the Pass itself. While, the participants of the short route of 60 kilometers will be diverted in Arabba towards the dirt road "Sorieghe" in the direction of the Pordoi Pass.
Those who wish to watch the passage of the competitors of the HERO will be able to do so by respecting the right inter-personal distance of 1 meter and wearing a protective mask, remaining outside any transennaded areas.
