Summer in Arabba

Every bike enthusiast will find the ideal tour to Arabba. Many paths and trails with different degrees of difficulty, to suit every ambition. Single trail for off-road rides with breathtaking views, the discovery of new places, or tours to test the most tenacious rider; all this starting from the center of Arabba. Summer on the Sella Ronda has never been so active.

Arabba situated in the the Fodom Valley is inserted in the Dolomiti Super Summer area and is optimally connected to high altitudes through the lift facilities open in summer. With the chair lifts and cable cars it is possible to climb over 2,000 meters in a few minutes and have a breathtaking view on the UNESCO Dolomites, thus enjoying the day, and of course having the chance to taste traditional Ladin dishes in mountain huts.

Some of the most beautiful equipped routes in the Dolomites are located right on the mountains around Arabba, such as "Ferrata delle Trincee" from Porta Vescovo that come up to the Passo Padon.

Just a few ingredients are needed for a great hiking day: the complicity of the sun, and a good company! The mountains surrounding Arabba are ideal for walking, passing through forests, meadows, until you will reach the top of the peak! You'll make new friends along the way too: the encounter with marmots, hares or deers is almost assured if we respect the habitat in which they live.

Running in the outdoors, on pristine trails at the foot of the Sella Group, with the fatigue that becomes a pleasant travelling companion, is as challenging as compelling.

When you need to take a break after you've enjoyed Arabba’s mountains, visit with your friends one of our mountain huts, and taste the typical dishes of the mountain! You'll be surprised how delicious they are.

Arabba is also culture and tradition: populated by the Ladins, an ethnic group characterised by a farming environment, they are closely linked to their identity and tireless workers, attached to the values of agricultural work and family. In addition, a land of bloody battles during the World Wars, it contains countless testimonies and historical artefacts that tell of daily life on the Italian and Austro-Hungarian fronts.
