An ancient manor house dating back to the Middle Ages, to be precise to 1200, it was built on a boulder brought to the valley by the last glaciation and served as a control centre for the communication routes of the time coming from the south and north, between Belluno and Bressanone.

Arabba, in the Fodom Valley, offers intense emotions not only during the summer or winter, as it is easy to imagine, but also during the autumn, that more intimate and peaceful "middle season" that has now dampened the great holiday vibes of summer and has not yet worn its winter appearance.

The mountains surrounding Arabba are full of paths: you will walk through forests, meadows, cross streams and dominate the peaks! You will also make new friends along the way: encounters with marmots, hares or fawns are almost guaranteed if you respect the habitat in which they live!

Arabba is also culture and tradition: populated by the Ladins, an ethnic group characterised by a farming environment, they are closely linked to their identity and tireless workers, attached to the values of agricultural work and family. In addition, a land of bloody battles during the World Wars, it contains countless testimonies and historical artefacts that tell of daily life on the Italian and Austro-Hungarian fronts.
