The Museum is charachterised by four different themes. Firstly, land organisation and administration with the typical "maso chiuso", the Ladin community administration, the different houses typologies and the patriarchal hierarchy of the Ladin family. Secondly, the museum presents the agricultural economy of the Ladin culture, arts and crafts and forest activities, such as wood cutting. The third section is dedicated to the local flora and fauna and to the geological development of the Fodom valley. Finally, the fourth section shows the history of the valley, paying particular attention to the Andraz Castle and to the events of the First World War, whose battles took place in the near Col di Lana mountain.
